Christopher C. King
Managing Partner
Christopher C. King, M.P.A, M.B.A. is a venture partner, angel investor, and advisor to a global portfolio of diverse founders. Recognized by Black Enterprise, the National Institute of Health, and Village Capital, he brings two decades of experience as an ecosystem builder, founder, and adjunct faculty. His investments have led to exit and acquisition in the US and Canada.
With prior notable experience as a contract negotiator for Obama’s reelection success in the battleground state of Virginia, he also built the data infrastructure for a $200M fund anchored by the founder of Netflix. As Managing Partner at his firm Theo Advisors, he leads operational growth and strategy nationwide. He also serves on the boards of Banquet Foods, an AI powered waste-repurposing startup, and Urban Ed, a nonprofit workforce development program for tech pathways in Washington, DC.
In his studies, he earned an M.P.A. from Baruch College and an M.B.A. in Information Systems from Howard University’s School of Business. He also holds a bachelors with honors distinction from the University at Albany, Rockefeller School of Public Policy. King lives outside of Washington, DC. He loves spending time with friends and his growing family, self care, nature, and road trips.
